Powerdown is one of Australasia’s leading suspension brands for the Heavy-Commercial industry along with its expanded product portfolio into 4WD suspension and passenger car service segments, all available from our central warehousing and distribution facility at Beresfield, NSW. We are currently looking to fill the position of Warehouse Supervisor. This role will directly supervise daily operations of the warehouse, including freight, shipping, and receiving, product returns and final assembly of products. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, the successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop the warehouse team and possess a customer-centric attitude. Warehouse Supervisor responsibilities and duties
- Control and manage inventory cycle counts.
- Supervise warehouse employees and oversee daily operations.
- Inspect condition of tools and equipment
- Coordinate general maintenance of equipment,
- Enforce all company policies and procedures,
- Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every workstation,
- Communicate effectively with freight companies and other service providers,
- Manage customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly.
Warehouse Supervisor qualifications and skills
- Minimum Cert III in Supply Chain Operations or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory role
- Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
